The statement that this year’s Fashion Nation opening will be genuinely unforgettable is not hyperbole. How could it not be? Three masters of Indonesian fashion, whose creations are rarely seen by the general public, share a stage.
Agus Lim, Rinaldy Yunardi, and Tex Saverio, are well-known designers with unique styles. Since they rarely work together in one evening, the launch of Fashion Nation Edition XIX on September 19, 2025, is a unique occasion.
Senayan City has continuously offered the Indonesian fashion industry a platform that blends imagination, ingenuity, and inspiration for almost 20 years. Fashion Nation is back this year with a fresh vibe, honoring the fashion industry’s tenacity as a representation of luxury, hope, and unrestricted expression.
Senayan City’s 19th anniversary celebration includes Fashion Nation Edition XIX. Senayan City’s Leasing & Marketing Communication Director, Halina, stated, “This event, which will take place from September 19–27, 2025, at the Main Atrium on the first floor, not only honors our accomplishments but also reflects Senayan City’s vision to continue presenting sustainable, futuristic, and inspiring trends for the Indonesian fashion industry.”
OPENING NIGHT: A Masterful Return
The theme for Fashion Nation XIX’s great and spectacular opening night was “Luxurious, Tailored, Inspiring.” Together, the three designers’ skills resulted in an unparalleled collection. Rinaldy Yunardi’s creations opened the show, followed by those of Agus Lim and Tex Saverio.
NOCTILUME by Rinaldy Yunardi
Renowned accessories designer Rinaldy Yunardi once again steals the spotlight with his latest collection, NOCTILUME. The color black dominates his design, which includes glistening details in copper, rose gold, silver, gold, and black metal.
Rinaldy highlights with NOCTILUME that accessories are essential components that may make a look come to life rather than just being accessories. The end product is a piece of glowing black charm that captivates the viewer and displays the maestro’s unique creative ability.
Twenty different styles—from gowns to cutting-edge jumpsuits with gold and silver accents—create a stunning look. Fantasy villains are evoked by every ensemble, including the headdresses, which range from black feathered headdresses to enormous top hats.
GENTLE DISRUPTION by Agus Lim
Designer Agus Lim’s collection, GENTLE DISRUPTION, was the next in line. Through a play of color and accessories, Agus Lim showcased suits with bold yet playful cuts, all crafted with his trademark tidy and exact tailoring.
Agus Lim appears to be expressing with this collection that suits may be elegant and official while yet being enjoyable. This is demonstrated by the light brown suit and bow-detailed shirt, which give a traditional look a modern touch. As an alternative, the grey suit has a rose accent, a belt, and pinstripes.
DOMINA by Tex Saverio
Tex Saverio returns with his haute couture collection, DOMINA, following a lengthy break from fashion shows. Tex represents a range of magnificent gowns with embroidered elements and glittering sequins, showcasing a fantasy and richness.
This series exhibits Tex Saverio’s unique balance of dramatic creative elements and straightforward forms. Bold structures and elegant movement are beautifully captured by DOMINA as a cohesive entity.
In addition to the amazing graphics, the three maestros’ collaboration included a performance by the renowned diva Titi DJ and orchestral music led by Nikita Dompas. The opening night of Fashion Nation XIX seemed unique and top-notch because of the harmony that was produced by the fusion of stagecraft, music, and fashion.
